Well devoted readers (all eight of you), here is another entry to appease you for now. As promised it is time for me to review Stanford. And I promise to be as unbiased as I can. So here we go!
Stanford University is one of the top schools in the world without a doubt. According to the Academic Ranking of World Universities, Stanford has almost topped the list since the reviews creation in 2003, consistently getting rank two or three. Since its founding in 1885, Stanford has been a top school in almost all of its fields. In particular, it is world renown for its Medical and Computer Science programs.
Stanford's campus is also world class. It is home to professional quality gear and facilities for almost all of their sports. It seems money can buy success (SORRY! NO BIAS). Anyways it Stanford Football is another competitor in the PAC-12 Conference, along with their ever noble and constant rival, the prodigious
UC Berkley! (SORRY! Last time, I promise. NO BIAS)
Overall Rating: 5/5 Stars
As much as it hurts me to say it, Stanford is a world class university. Although its tuition is high (even for a private school) it boasts a world class campus and tutelage.
A SIDE NOTE: We must now have a moment of silence. The Cardinals were victorious. Yes. The Cardinals. I will refuse to call them a color until they can agree what it is!

UC Berkeley
In honor of the big game... or should I say the Big Game (those of you who don't know what that is, shame on you!) coming up, I will be reviewing a truly fantastic college ( no bias here)! Thats right, it's time for UC Berkeley! ( Relax Stanford fans. I will do that one later... Oh, and I'm sure the Cardinals will do fine.) Ok, lets get down to business.
So the amazing college line was not a joke, situated in city of Berkeley on California's coastline, UC Berkeley, also known as Cal, is ranked 21st in the National Best Colleges 2013 edition. It's campus is very spread out and melds right into the city, providing a unique setting for this esteemed college. The campus is an interesting mix of brilliant students roaming the streets and the liberal activists that the city is famous for. But don't let that dissuade you! Berkeley is known for its rich political and cultural life and is a joy to explore.
Along with an excellent campus, Berkeley is a distinguished academic institution. In the 2010 National Council Research Rankings, Berkeley's departments placed first in Agriculture and Resource Economics, Astrophysics, Chemistry, Civil and Environmental Engineering,Computer Science, English, Epidemiology, German, History of Art, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Physics, Plant Biology, and Political Sciences. Whew. Thats a long list. To summarize, they have a ton of good programs!
And yes... to you sports people, they do have good sports programs. They are part of the PAC-12 Conference, along with their rival, Stanford, whom they are going to beat tomorrow at the Big Game ( sorry... unbiased). Oh! Interesting tidbit time! UC Berkeley sent the most athletes to the 2012 Olympic Games out of all public schools at a whooping 45!
